Signal Processing is a basis for many different applications. Not only skills in Digital Signal Processing theory and algorithm are needed, but also an understanding of how to implement the solutions in an effective and industrialized way. BitSim has the knowledge and expertise from different areas such as wireless communication, radar applications, video systems, image and sound processing. We also have experience from several electronic warfare projects developing radio and radar equipment as well as SDR-projects. Fast Fourier Transforms (FFT) is another field in which we have experience. We have worked with several solutions for FFT cores. Our knowledge within wireless access includes different access methodologies and end technologies from specification to implementation. We use Matlab as a tool for algorithm development. A typical task could be to define the requirements and propose a cost effective solution for a customer. The choice of how to implement a function depends on the customer’s end application. It can, for example, be to implement the solution in a DSP-processor, an FPGA or an ASIC.
