Defense and aerospace equipment must function under harsh conditions for very long periods of time. Of course, electronics is no exception. BitSim has experience from several military applications using rugged board standards, such as VME and Compact PCI. We work with SDR technology, design and layout for high speed multi GHz boards and serial protocols. Within the electronic warfare area we have developed radar and radio equipment, enabling advanced signal processing algorithms like FFT. An example of this is UHAB designed for radar, sonar or general data acquisition. BitSim has also designed FPGAs for space applications.
